End of Season 2010
At the end of the 2010 season the Torero's boast a list of accomplishments unlike any season before. The USD Women's Lacrosse team ended the season with a record of 8-3 and at #28 on the Lax Power National rankings. This season's success brought an invitation to the WDIA Nationals in Scottsdale, AZ. Facing the strong opposition of University of Denver, University of California-Berkeley and Southern Methodist University the Toreros came away with a 3rd place finish.

To our graduating seniors, Amy Hauck, Lorena Bernal and Liz Crosby, thank you for your time and commitment to our team. You will be greatly missed.

We are happy to welcome back Melissa Anderson as our head coach for the 2010-2011 season.

What's Happening in the Plaza De Toro

Women's lacrosse is in full swing.  Spring semester has begun, the games are the real deal, and the Lady Torero's mean business.  Practices are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 5 - 7pm on Manchester field. Tuesday's and Thursday's are reserved for cardio and weight training.

The season began a little bumpy with a loss to Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo.  However, ever since then the team's been kicking it into gear.  The Lady Toreros walked away from the Santa Barbara Shoot Out with 4 wins.  This past weekend they were also victorious over State and UCSD.

Currently these brave female bull fighters are preparing to take on Chapman's team on Saturday at Chapman.  Check the schedule to catch a glimpse of upcoming games.  There are a handful of home games in March and April, which naturally makes it convenient for our fans to come and cheer us on.  We'll provide the blue face paint if you all fill the atmosphere with cheers.
